Bieber Fans Overrun Westroads Mall

Justin Bieber fans, mostly teenage girls, flocked to Omaha's Westroads Mall Saturday afternoon in hopes of seeing the pop singing star.

Word spread that Bieber would be there after tweeting, "Been a great little break but now gotta get back to tour. Where are we going??? OMAHA MALL!!!" It was a reference to one of his songs.

Bieber is in town for a 7 p.m. concert at the CenturyLink Center, which sold out in 45 minutes in December.

Mall management told Channel 6 News he was never there. Police reported several small disturbances in the crowd and one girl suffered minor injuries when she was knocked over in the rush of teens.

“I almost got trampled because there was a huge mob,” said Shayla Brock. “The security just had to back everyone out and they said they were going to kick people out if they didn't start to shop."
