Bellevue University Launches "Flexxive" Program

Bellevue University has just launched its newest program designed to make learning more affordable and more flexible for adults with busy schedules.

It's called "flexxive". The online program is split into 6-month segments instead of traditional semesters.

It also allows students to learn at their own pace.

"A student could also earn their degree faster if they were motivated and able to move through," says Mary Hawkins, Bellevue University President. "But if they're not, they are able to spend the time they need to master, rather than just get passed through to the next course."

Students who are able to move through the courses quickly can actually lower their tuition costs.

The program was launched on Feb. 1 with five students.
