Bellevue police are searching for two men who held up a pair of businesses late Tuesday night.
The first armed robbery occurred at the Pizza Hut south of 36th Street and Highway 370 around 10 p.m. The suspects walked into the restaurant and stole money from the register. Three employees were inside at the time.
A short time later, the White House Best Western was robbed. “There appeared to be a trail that headed to the east of the Pizza Hut where they parked the car and they did find a $10 bill on the ground along with footprints as they escaped from the scene,” said BPD Capt. Dave Stukenholtz.
Employees at both locations described the suspects as being in their 20s, wearing all black clothing and armed with handguns. Anyone with information about either holdup is asked to call Sarpy County Crime Stoppers at 402-593-7867.
