Channel Six has learned the TV show "Bar Rescue" is making the rounds here in Omaha.
The Owner of the Grant Street Tavern was contacted by the show's producers over the weekend. Mike Litwin says he's more than willing to have the show's experts come in and help his business improve.
Litwin bought the bar nine years ago and was doing fine until the beginning of this year. He's reinvested profits back into the business and expanded twice, but he's now in need of some help.
"We have been losing between two and three thousand dollars a month and that just adds up over the course of time. So you are starting to see the slide down and you want to stop it? Right, I want it to stop before I don't have a business anymore right," Mike Litwin with the Grant Street Tavern said.
Litwin says running specials doesn't seem to work. He's also a regular viewer of the show and is eager to learn what he can do to improve. The producers say they will get back to Litwin if they are interested in doing a show at Grant Street.
