On the surface, it sounds innocent enough. Several friends decided to snap a picture in front of the door of a bar before leaving for the night. However, they were blocking the front door.
Lincoln police say while the Kodak moment was underway, two women pushed open the door at Heidelberg’s Sports Bar just before Midnight Sunday.
The situation grew from name calling to one woman grabbing a glass and striking another woman over the head. The 21-year-old victim was left nursing a bleeding head.
Police say the woman with the glass, 24-year-old Alexandria Borys of Omaha, was arrested for second degree assault and use of a weapon, the glass, to commit a felony.
