Two men arrested after a bank robbery in southeast Nebraska Friday have a violent past. Gage County deputies arrested the men about an hour after a branch of Pinnacle Bank was robbed in Beatrice.

The men are identified as 31-year-old Lucius Turner and 35-year-old Gilbert McCabe. Turner is currently serving time for a previous robbery. However, he was out on work release in Lincoln and was scheduled to have a parole hearing August 28.

McCabe was released from prison in April 2012 after he served time for a 1994 murder in Omaha. He was convicted of second degree murder for the death of 14-year old Colin Hollis. McCabe was 16 at the time.
