Armed Robbers Give Ultimatum

Sheriff’s are searching for armed robbers, who gave a store clerk a violent ultimatum.

It happened January 15th in the morning hours at the Phillip's 66 at Interstate 80 and 144th Street.

Two men came in with a weapon, and demanded money from the male clerk. One of the suspects then saw a female clerk, and said he'd count to five and she better have the safe open or he'd shoot her. She told him she couldn't, so they took the cash and ran.

One suspect was wearing very distinct lavender or light purple vinyl shoes. The men are believed to be involved in other robberies across the metro.

"I believe these suspects are extremely dangerous especially to the point that one was willing to not only say you have 5 seconds to open safe, but threaten the life of the clerk and begin to countdown," said Investigator Matt Barrall with the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office.

The two men fled the scene in a dark blue or black Ford SUV with the new Nebraska plate ending in 535.

If you have any information on who these men are call Sarpy County Crimestoppers at 402-592-7867 (STOP).
