Apple Privacy

Researchers in the United Kingdom has discovered that Apple may be keeping track of everywhere you have been.

All cellphones contain technology which can pin-point a user's location and many smart phone users voluntarily give up their location via apps and tracking services.

But researchers have discovered a hidden file in the latest operating system which contains "unprotected" data including months of geographic movement using locations and timestamps.

The unencrypted data is also on any electronic device that the user has synced.

This means the information can be easily accessed.

Experts speculate Apple might be compiling data for advertising purposes.

Apple has not yet commented on the research.
