Animal Rescue Needs Emergency Help

An animal rescue faces an emergency. Fifteen bales of hay have been donated to Hooves and Paws rescue near Glenwood, Iowa.

That’s the good news. The problem is the tractor used by the volunteer group has broken down. So the rescue needs help to unload the bales of hay before it rains. Owner Genea Stoops says the rescue needs two tractors to unload the donated hay worth nearly $3,000 dollars.

The hay is needed to feed about three dozen horses that have been rescued from neglect. The number for Hooves and Paws rescue is 712-355-3721.
