Midtown Crossing will, once again, offer fans the convenience of a free event shuttle during the biggest week in college baseball.
"Park the car here at Midtown Crossing, have a drink or something to eat, and we'll get you to TD Ameritrade Park Omaha on time -- no headaches, no hassles," said Molly Skold, vice president of marketing and communications, for East Campus Realty, LLC, the Mutual of Omaha subsidiary that owns Midtown Crossing.
Here is the plan:
For the Opening Day Celebration on Friday, June 14, complimentary shuttle service will begin at 12:00 p.m. The shuttle will run a continuous loop from Midtown Crossing to the front of TD Ameritrade Park Omaha approximately every 15-30 minutes. Service will end on Friday approximately 60-minutes after the end of the fireworks display.
Starting Saturday, June 15, service will begin two hours before each game and end 60-minutes after that game's final out. The shuttle will, again, run a continuous loop from Midtown Crossing to TD Ameritrade Park Omaha approximately every 15-30 minutes.
Fans are encouraged to park in one of Midtown Crossing's two garages (first three hours free) and pick up the shuttle from 31st Ave. and Farnam St. near the Metro bus stop.
