Today is the first full day of spring but Mother Nature doesn't seem to be cooperating. Cloudy skies and chilly temperatures seem to be entrenched in the metro.
Spring is in the air if you know where to find it.
There are more than 75,000 plants in the greenhouse at Hanscom Park. The city greenhouse provides all the plants for all of the public land in the city and it all comes from the one location.
Parks, neighborhood commons even the plants in the Old Market are grown here and transplanted in the early spring.
Temperature inside the greenhouse today? A balmy 75 degrees.
