The former owner of the Pets A' Mor pet store has pleaded not guilty to 30 counts of animal cruelty.
Stephanie Patterson entered her plea in court Tuesday morning. She was the owner of the Benson shop.
The Humane Society removed 21 puppies and numerous small animals from her store in July.
Seven of the puppies had to be euthanized due to the deadly Parvo virus.
The Humane Society's Tina Updegrove says, "They were in very, very poor condition. It wasn't, 'I forgot to feed them for a day.' This, I mean, these dogs were literally dying."
Patterson will stand trial.
Her pet store is closed.
