A Web site says the University of Nebraska Medical Center is one of the top academic workplaces in the nation.
TheScientist.com ranked UNMC No. 39 in its list. Princeton University led the list followed by St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
The Web site based its ranking on surveys of faculty and staff at academic institutions nationwide.
The magazine praised the pay and infrastructure at UNMC. Last year UNMC ranked 71 in the list.
