McDonald's Recalling 12 Million Shrek Glasses
McDonald's announced Friday morning it's recalling 12 million drinking glasses that were introduced to promote the new Shrek movie.
The fast food giant says the painted designs on the collectibles contain the toxic metal Cadmium.
The glasses were sold for $2 each, and were sold in the four different designs illustrated below.
Customers can get instructions to return the glassware and request a refund by visiting www.mcdonalds.com/glasses beginning June 8. Customers can also call McDonald’s toll-free number at 1-800-244-6227.
