When Linda Sieffert put her home near 14th and Cady up for sale, she hoped for lots of foot traffic and many drive-bys. But she didn't mean drive by shootings and foot chases like those that have taken place in her neighborhood over the last two days.

"I've lived here 45 years and have never had any problem," said Sieffert.

Yesterday, someone drove by and shot a teenager just a block away.

Then today, a foot chase brought police to her street once again. After yesterday's shooting police had extra patrols in the neighborhood and when they tried to contact a suspicious teenager, he ran. Police say he was armed and so they engaged in a massive search.

Police eventually brought a K9 unit in and found the suspect hiding behind a home. The teenager ditched the weapon during the search and police recovered it. They say the teen will face weapons charges and they will run ballistics tests on the gun.
