Omaha Police have identified a man shot to death early Thursday morning as 21-year-old Russell McKnight. His body was found outside the Wintergreen Apartments near 51st and Mary Plaza around 1:30 a.m.
Authorities had a report of shots being fired at that location and they found McKnight near the apartment building.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police are still trying to identify a suspect in the case.
