An Omaha officer and three others were injured in a crash involving a police cruiser Sunday morning.

Investigators say Officer Joseph Hall was rushing to a "help an officer" call at 40th and Farnam when his cruiser crashed into a car at the intersection of 24th and Martha just after 12:15 a.m. He was treated at the hospital for an ankle injury and released.

The three people in the car were hospitalized. Fifty-three-year-old Jose Rivera suffered broken ribs, 42-year-old Daisy Carbantes had a head injury and 20-year-old Keyri Rivera suffered a broken spine and shoulder.

It's unclear who had the green light. Officer Hall's cruiser had its lights and sirens on at the time of the accident.
