Many of us will be getting a package in the mail this holiday season, at least that's what the U.S. Postal Service is saying. And Wendy's is planning to expand. Here's the Thursday Bloomberg After The Bell Report from the New York Stock Exchange.

The U.S. Postal Service is forecasting a record holiday shipping surge, saying 20 percent more packages will be delivered this year than last year, thanks to a growing number of us shopping online. In total, nearly 18 billion cards, letters and packages will be delivered between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve.

A new report by the CDC says U.S. service members in Afghanistan battle zones who consumed three or more energy drinks a day were actually more likely to doze off while on guard duty.

As for the markets, stocks fell again. The S&P landed at its lowest level since August on concern about Greece and the European Union.

Wendy's may expand the number of locations in the U.S. by more than a third as it remodels restaurants. The burger chain is trying to entice customers by offering more premium menu items as well as breakfast.
