A Lincoln man is behind bars for allegedly having a sexual relationship with his girlfriend's 15-year-old daughter. Thirty-eight-year-old Daniel Totenhagen is also accused of helping the girl and her 17-year-old friend run away in September.

Police say he drove the girls to Omaha where the 15-year-old had sex with other older men and used marijuana. She was found October 3rd and admitted to having a consensual sexual relationship with Totenhagen.

The 17-year-old had been on house arrest and was wearing an ankle bracelet that was later found in a field near Totenhagen's home. Totenhagen had allegedly suggested she cut it off so police couldn't track her. She was located by Carter Lake Police on October 9th.

Totenhagen was arrested Monday on charges of child abuse and first-degree sexual assault.
