An Omaha man’s vintage car was stolen from his garage and the thieves apparently didn’t have to work to hard to take the car.
According to police reports, Nathan N. Huntley told police his mint condition 1971 brown Ford Thunderbird was stolen from his garage near 110th and Manderson Friday morning.
Huntley told police he went to the garage to smoke a cigarette late Thursday evening and the car was there.
When his girlfriend arrived a short time later, she told Huntley the garage door was up and the car was gone.
The report notes there was no forced entry in to the garage.
Huntley apparently left the keys in the car’s ignition.
The car's value was listed at $4,500.
