There were no surprises in a final report received a few days ago from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
The Cassgram reports rescue and city officials have known for about a month that Plattsmouth Rescue was likely to get non-passing grades in over two-thirds of the categories covered during a licensing audit and have spoken publicly about it.
The focus since the inspection, an inspection that was requested jointly by the rescue department and the city, has been on attaining passing grades.
Plattsmouth Rescue Captain Mike Wood says the department has addressed the areas that needed attention and believes the department would score about 95% now. Wood took over the captain’s post in mid-September.
