Thousands laced up their sneakers Sunday morning. It was a chance to get some exercise and battle lung disease as runners and walkers took on the 2009 Corporate Cup.
Whether one completed the 2 mile or the 10km, there is no feeling like crossing the finish line.

Crowds surrounded the finish line and thousands took part. “It was huge this year, seemed like we were just talking about that as it seemed like we were running around people the whole time,” says Katie Sindt.
Runners and walkers of all ages took part. While most battled the clock, some had their eye on their own competition. “I was trying to see if my mom could beat me,” says Jake Fosselmen.
Others have their sights set on what came after, while it may not be the taste of victory, a cold cup of water hits the spot. “Real good, tastes cold...refreshing,” explains Zack Zessin.
Others were just happy, they made it through. “Feels great. We're going to breakfast,” says Jill Dolan.
Early estimates say that more than ten-thousand people who ran in the corporate cup, making it the second largest number of entries in the race's history
