Oscar-nominated actress Debra Winger and Oscar-winning writer-director Alexander Payne will share an Omaha stage to raise money for a nonprofit cinema.
On Sunday, Winger and Payne will be on the stage at the Peter Kiewit Concert Hall, which is part of the Holland Performing Arts Center.
Winger will discuss her film career, which includes performances in "Urban Cowboy" and "Terms of Endearment," which was filmed in Nebraska.
Payne shared an Oscar for co-writing the adapted screenplay for the film "Sideways."
Sunday's proceeds go to Film Streams, which runs a two-screen movie theater just north of downtown.
It shows first-run independent films, documentaries and foreign films, along with repertory series.
