Army Deploys "Virtual Army Experience" At Air Show

In addition to its Golden Knights parachute team, the U.S. Army will deploy its Virtual Army Experience at Offutt Air Base's annual air show.

The air show runs Friday and Saturday at the base next to Bellevue, south of Omaha.

The Army's high-tech mission challenges participants to employ teamwork, leadership and military technology.

Participants are briefed before entering the virtual mission simulator for their missions.

Planes new and old are flying in to take part in the Air Force's aerial show. They include the B-2 stealth bomber, a World War II-era B-17 bomber and P-51 Mustang fighter plane.

The U.S. Navy's contributions to the weekend events include the famed Blue Angels aerial exhibition team, flying F/A-18 Hornets.
