If you didn't trade in your clunker for a new, more economical car, a Red Cross chapter says it could put that clunker to a productive new use.
The Cornhusker Chapter of the American Red Cross operates the Cars that Care vehicle donation program.
It accepts unwanted vehicles and then sells them to support its services and training in Lancaster County and southeast Nebraska.
The program also takes boats, trailers and trucks.
Donations may be tax-deductible.
