Congressman Lee Terry’s town hall meeting opened the lines of communication between the 2nd District Representative and voters.

The "number one topic" on the agenda was health care reform, and what the future may hold.

Congressman Lee Terry's town hall meeting was designed to explain what was in the health care reform bill, and take voters' feedback back to Washington.

One aspect of the bill still confusing some is the so called death panels; Terry says people are reading too much into medical research and end of life counseling.

Congressman Lee Terry says, "There is no such death panel in this bill but it's a reasonable interpretation so that's what is feeding this, confusion."

Congressman Terry was the draw, but the voters were the stars.

The loudest applause and only standing ovation was for Sarah Suiter. She sees health care reform as a freedom fight, and says we need to keep President Obama in check.

Sarah Suiter says, "Wants to control too many segments of our society and that means controlling us and I will fight to my end for my children's freedom."

After her comments Suiter was approached by several young people who told her they admired her common sense.

Before the town hall meeting Terry told reporters voters seem to be upset and frustrated by the various myths and confusion surrounding many aspects of the health care reform bill. The town hall meeting is to set the record straight.
