The University of Nebraska-Lincoln plans to welcome students back to the school's flagship campus with a weekend of events.

Athletic Director Tom Osborne will formally welcome new students to campus Friday afternoon at the Lied Center with a talk about integrity.

New students will also have a chance to take the Cornhusker Oath and receive a pin symbolizing the beginning of their college journeys.

The marching band will perform Friday night at Memorial Stadium, and a dance will be held Saturday at the Nebraska Union.

During the day Saturday, tours of campus and Lincoln's bike trails will be available.

Students will have a chance to learn about campus organizations on Sunday night during a festival in the loop outside Memorial Stadium.
