A 30-year-old U.S. serviceman in Omaha on leave from Germany is spending his liberty behind bars, suspected of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.

Kevin Siegmann was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child Sunday morning.

Police say the incident happened at the Marriott Hotel in Regency where Siegmann had met a group of girls at an Internet cafe and got beer for them. After drinking, Siegmann allegedly assaulted the girl in the women's restroom on the hotel’s main floor. The girl reportedly screamed for help.

Siegmann was later arrested at another hotel near 87th and West Dodge Road where he was registered as a guest.
