The University of Nebraska Medical Center has been attracting more research dollars and moving up in national rankings.
UNMC says it received 13 percent more research funding from the National Institutes of Health in the past year than it did the previous year. That was an increase of $46.4 million.
The National Institutes of Health ranks colleges based on the amount of research funding they receive.
UNMC says its College of Medicine improved to rank in the 55th percentile. Previously, it ranked in the 62nd percentile.
The College of Pharmacy ranks in the 24th percentile.
