Nebraska Man Sentenced For Forcing Kids To Watch Porn
A Nebraska man who forced an 8-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl to watch pay-per-view porn last summer is going to prison.
On Wednesday, Johnathan Bean of Unadilla told Lancaster County District Judge Jeffre Cheuvront that he was very sorry for what he had done.
The judge gave the 31-year-old Bean two-to-four years in prison.
In May, Bean pleaded guilty to felony child abuse and third-degree assault. He had threatened to beat the children if they told anyone about the porn.
The girl told her mom a few months later.
Authorities say the porn was extremely explicit.
Prosecutor Matt Acton says that after the pay-per-view cable TV showing was over, Bean asked the little girl if she wanted to have sex.
She refused.
