Boat Assault Charge
The Cass County Attorney’s Office has filed a Class III Felony charge against the 21-year-old Nebraska City man accused of striking a 30-year-old Bellevue man in the head on a boat on Beaver Lake on June 28th.
The Cassgram reports that the charge of First Degree Assault-Causing Serious Bodily Injury was filed Thursday against Drew F. Jones.
Conviction on the charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a $25,000 fine or both.
