Police called on the public Monday to help find two suspects in a fatal hit-and-run crash Saturday night that took the life of an Omaha man.

The crash at 37th and Y streets killed 29-year-old Steven McAdams and injured 30-year-old David Hardin. McAdams leaves behind a 10-year-old son.

Police do not have a very detailed description of the suspects. They are believed to be in their teens. One is described as about 5-foot-4, 140 pounds. The other suspect is possibly 5-foot-2, weighing 130 pounds.

The car that hit the vehicle in which McAdams was a passenger went through a stop sign. Afterwards, the suspects ran from the scene. Their car is a white, 1996 Ford Contour with Nebraska license plates RBL 358 and August renewal stickers.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have heard people talking about the crash are asked to call the Omaha Police Department at 444-7867. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could get a $1,000 reward.
