5 New Iowa Laws At A Glance
Here are the five laws, at a glance, that take effect in Iowa Tuesday.
Fishing and Hunting: Department of Natural Resources allows possible third fishing line to one license, combined hunting and fishing license and three-year hunting or fishing permit.
Construction: Secretary of state to establish and maintain statewide registry of construction companies.
Public Notaries: A number of procedural changes for these officials authorized to witness and authenticate public documents.
Volunteer Firefighters: Provides $50 income tax credit for volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians.
Child Care: Increases rate for providers who serve children eligible for the state's assistance program.
