4th Offense Drunk Driving
4th offense drunk driver charged.
Scott Tingelhoff, Saunders County Attorney, reports Jon Williams was charged with Driving Under the Influence 4th Offense, a class IIIA Felony, which has a maximum sentence of up to 5 years imprisonment. He is scheduled to appear in the Saunders County Court for a Felony First Appearance on December 11, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
On October 12, 2012, a trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol observed a vehicle traveling over the posted 65 mile per hour speed limit. After approaching the vehicle, the trooper detected the distinct odor of alcohol emitting from the vehicle. Williams subsequently failed all field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.
