Time to break out Old Glory -- if you haven't already.
Nebraska Secretary of State John Gale is asking Nebraskans to fly the
U.S. flag during the Fourth of July holiday to show their patriotism.

Gale says displaying the flag demonstrates pride in America, calling ti the "iconic symbol of our values of freedom, liberty and democracy."

Gale's comments came as part of his offer earlier this week to Nebraskans, giving them a chance to have their U.S. and state flags flown at the state Capitol.
