Where Do You Live?

Over two dozen Plattsmouth businesses and homeowners received notices Wednesday they need to have their address numbers posted on their buildings.

The Cassgram reports that Plattsmouth Police Officers were given the assignment last fall of code enforcement in the city and this is part of the "first wave" of that enforcement, said Police Chief Brian Paulsen.

The city code book says the numbers should be at least three inches high and placed on the front in a conspicuous place. All houses and businesses fronting any public street or alley are to be numbered.

Paulsen is preparing a code enforcement report for the city council.
