A minivan crashed into an Omaha bar Wednesday night leaving it badly damaged and officials are worried the entire building may collapse.
One eyewitness, only identifying himself as "L.C." says he was just playing darts and pool when the van came crashing through the wall.
He told WOWT that between 25 and 30 people were in Hank's Place Bar at the time. L.C. says he was able to get out through the back door.
The bar is attached to Big Jim's Barber Shop. Above that, there are apartments and its believed at least one resident was displaced because of the accident.
Officials have shut down the intersection of 40th Street and Ames Avenue in all directions as they continue their investigation into the crash and the building's viability.
