Beatrice police say the stolen alligator still hasn't surfaced.

Capt. Jerry Lamkin the green, 9-foot-long floating water toy was still missing Monday morning.

It was reported stolen last week by the Big Blue Water Park.

A park employee says the gator would have taken more than one person to carry it.

Before being stolen, the alligator was anchored at the shallow end of the pool. It bobs on the surface so kids can float with it.

The park valued it at between $1,000 and $1,500
