Angry residents near 144th Street and West Maple Road in Omaha met with their homeowner's association Saturday night. They say Triton Homes isn't making promised repairs in their development.

Nancy Valasquez has a muddy back yard. She and others have been waiting on sod promised by the builder for weeks or some cases, months.

Others had problems with wet walls which were eventually fixed, but many units are still waiting on repairs.

“It's the sod, there's a seven-to-eight-inch drop-off at the back of my patio that needs to be fixed and that fact that it's just not getting fixed,” said Velasquez. “It shouldn't take this long. I mean, Triton made the agreement over two years ago to fix it."

Valasquez says the homeowners association is going to take care of sod around the complex. Hopefully, the work will begin next week. They will take bids on repairs needed in the rest of the units, billing Triton Homes.
