A man was arrested after threatening to set off a bomb inside the Benson post office Saturday morning.

Employees told police a man walked in with a backpack around 10:30 a.m. saying he had a bomb and demanded money. The workers told the man they didn't have any cash and he left on a bicycle.

Officers found the bike and backpack in a nearby alley, but there was no sign of any explosives.

The suspect, 32-year-old Anthony Dan, was later arrested near 63rd and Miami. He was booked for two counts of making terroristic threats and one count of attempted robbery.
