Pilot okay, blames low visibility
A private transport helicopter made an unscheduled landing in Omaha Tuesday morning. The pilot blamed low visibility, forcing him to land in a field west of 90th and Ohio streets.

A private transport helicopter made an unscheduled landing in Omaha Tuesday morning. The pilot blamed low visibility, forcing him to land in a field west of 90th and Ohio streets.

No one was hurt. The pilot had taken off from Eppley Airfield just before 11 a.m., heading for O'Neill, Nebraska when he decided to land between West Maple and Blondo streets and wait for the weather to clear.
