8 Dead On Iowa Roadways During Holiday Weekend

At least eight people have died in accidents on Iowa roadways over the Memorial Day weekend.

Reports from sheriff's offices and the Iowa State Patrol show that seven of the deadly crashes happened on Saturday.

An Emerson man died in a rollover accident west of Red Oak and a Greenfield man was killed in a single-vehicle crash south of Fontanelle.

Two Indianola residents were killed in three-vehicle near Washington in a crash that also left five others injured.

An Oelwein woman died Saturday after her car collided head-on with a semitrailer in Bremer County, and a Fairbanks couple was killed when their motorcycle was struck head-on by a car Saturday morning near Kendallville, in Winneshiek County.

A Boone woman died Friday night in a rollover accident on U.S. Highway 30 in Boone County.
