Work will begin on busy Highway 50 beginning May 26th, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
The Cassgram reports that the 10-mile project is located on N-50 from Syracuse to the US-34 junction. US Asphalt of Omaha has the $4.78-million project for grading, bridges, concrete patching, asphalt, guard rail repair and seeding.
Traffic will be maintained. Bridges will be reduced to one lane and controlled by stoplights during the phased construction operations. Bridge locations will be reduced to a 9’ lane width for the duration of the construction periods. Pilot cars and flaggers will be used.
