Not So Brotherly Love
A man arrested for assaulting his brother.
Cass County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault south of Plattsmouth at 10614 Valley View Drive about 5:30pm Wednesday. Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann says Eric N. Moore, 35, called 911 to report that he had been assaulted by his brother.
It is believed he was struck several times in the head with a baseball bat. Murray Rescue transported him to Creighton University Medical Center.
As a result of the investigation Jason A. Moore, 36, was arrested on suspicion of assault. Both parties had been drinking at the time of the assault, says Brueggemann.
