Columbus police are investigating a collision that killed a 48-year-old motorcyclist from Norfolk and injured his wife, who was his passenger. Police say Leslie Klug was killed yesterday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a car at a city intersection.

Klug's wife, 45-year-old Melody Klug, was first taken to Columbus Community Hospital in critical condition, and then flown by helicopter to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Twenty-year-old Thomas Jaixen of Platte Center, who was driving the car, was not hurt. Police say alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the accident.
