A 29-year-old Bloomfield, Nebraska man has been arrested on a charge of felony sexual assault of a child.

Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol in Norfolk received information last Friday of a possible sexual assault involving a 14-year-old girl.

A search warrant was obtained for John Hoffman’s residence where investigators seized evidence consistent with statements given by the alleged victim.
