A Douglas County corrections officer posted 10 percent of his $10,000 bond Monday morning and was released with an alcohol-monitoring device. Matthew Hagen was arrested April 8th for leading police on a pursuit.

Hagen faces multiple charges including flight to avoid arrest, attempted assault of an officer and driving while intoxicated.

Sarpy County Sheriff's deputies say the 25-year-old crashed his pickup through a fence at Chalco Hills Recreation Area last Wednesday. A separate 911 call reported the same pickup chasing deer in a nearby field.

Deputies caught up to Hagen near 156th and Harrison. They say he refused to stop and was arrested following a 10-minute chase and brief struggle with deputies.

Hagen has been placed on administrative leave from his job with the Douglas County Department of Corrections. He is expected back in court on April 15th.
