Title One allocation boosts for local school districts.
The Cassgram says the Federal Title I Program, the largest elementary and secondary education program, supplements state and local funding for low-achieving children, especially in high-poverty schools.
The program finances the additional academic support and learning opportunities that are often required to help disadvantaged students progress along with their classmates, according to information from the U.S. Department of Education website.
The following grant amounts come from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act otherwise known as the stimulus package.
Plattsmouth $125,285
Conestoga $48,962
Louisville $32,401
