Former Court Clerk Arrested
A former court official will be facing a judge in Nebraska soon.
Channel Six News has learned that 43 year old Teresa White has been arrested for allegedly stealing $28,000 from the Otoe County District Court.
White had been the deputy clerk of the court until moving to Oklahoma. She was arrested last night by Oklahoma authorities on a warrant issued through Nebraska attorney general Jon Bruning.
No word yet on when she’ll be extradited to Nebraska City to face one count of theft by unlawful taking.
