DUI St Patrick Crack Down

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) conducted DUI selective enforcement on St. Patrick’s Day 2009.

The primary focus of the enforcement activity was to arrest drivers who were under the influence of alcohol.

The Nebraska Office of Highway Safety (NOHS) provided a maximum of $1,600.00 grant funds for this enforcement effort.

During the St. Patrick’s Day selective enforcement, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office compiled the below listed statistical totals:

• 2 total traffic citations were issued
• 4 warning citations
• 0 Speeding citations
• 3 arrests for DWI/DUI
• 2 total misdemeanor arrests
